Recca is a boy living in the modern world, seems only to the following the ways of the Ninja. On the day he becomes friends with a girl named Yanagi that has a mysterious force of healing, he faced and challenged by a dark priest. This battle leads Recca to discover a strange power within themselves. Then he finds, is not only its past and fate not crystal clear how he thought, but there are others with powers, that the manner of the Ninja that one after him to practice the different challenge.
